Artist and Designer, Freelance (Oct 2015 - Present)
I try to take on any project that comes my way, especially if it’s something I haven’t done before! Since I started freelancing, I have done custom illustrations for books, a vehicle wrap, logo design, branding and presentations, vector illustrations, events with live drawing and advertising.
House of Illustration is the UK’s only public gallery dedicated solely to illustration, with a creative programme of exhibitions, talks, and events. I recently joined as a volunteer to assist with the running and invigilation of the galleries, shop, and workshops.
My role was a very varied one – My main area of work was illustration and design, applied to client content and experimenting material. I also worked in UX/UI for the apps and software platforms we developed, as well as video-editing and print when required. Other areas of my day to day job included helping out with IT, marketing and content-creation and collaborating with partners.
I worked as a trilingual consultant within the Information Technology and Pre Sales sectors at Abika Consulting.
Before moving to London, I attended the first year of a Visual Arts BA at IUNA in Buenos Aires where I took both theoretical and practical subjects and achieved very high marks (9.17/10). I also tutored my classmates for Culture History I, a subject that changed my entire world-perspective and made me a big fan of Peter Berger’s theories on the social construction of reality.
I belonged to the first group to graduate from the 3D Design course at IMAGE Campus, back then the orientation of the course was inorganic and mostly applied to architecture and video games background design. (Main software used was 3ds Max, Autodesk).
I graduated in 2009 from CCI Olivos, having taken the Argentine curriculum for secondary school as well as Italy’s curriculum, finalising on the traditional Esame di Stato. My thesis was focused on the impact of immigration in Argentina between the 1850s and the 1950s.
